About
I work as a Software Development Engineer with Telligent Systems, where I have the pleasure of working on building the Community Server platform. I've been at Telligent since it was only a month old, back in July 2004, and have been developing Community Server and watching it grow since its infancy.
While Telligent is based out of Dallas, Texas, I live in Lodi, California, a smallish town in California's Central Valley. To give you an idea, it is about 40 minutes south of Sacramento, and about an hour east of the Bay Area. I live with my wife Tricia, and my newborn son Nick.
My blog is a collection of random thoughts ranging from development, life, or some of my other hobbies.
I primarily write software centered around ASP.NET and C#. I've also worked with WinForms, and have previous experience with PHP, Perl, and C/C++. Most of my interests are around backend APIs, web services, and server implementations (mmm, RFCs). Recently, I have made the switch from PC to Mac and begun getting familiar with Ruby and brushing up on MySQL.
Other hobbies include photography, movies, my Xbox 360 (though I have a sad Gamerscore in comparison to other Telligenti), and when I have the time, embedded electronics. In my spare time, I am mostly with family relaxing or playing with my son.
